- 2 lb. dried pinto beans
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- salt to taste
- 1 can undiluted tomato soup
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
Directions

1Soak beans in water all afternoon.

2Put in slow cooker on low and simmer all night with water covering beans.

3In the morning, brown in skillet the meat and chili powder.

4Add directly to beans without browning.

5First, add onion, pepper and celery.

6Then add chili meat and stir.

7Two hours before serving meal, add 1 can tomato soup and stir until blended.
