Ingredients

  • 5 lb. ground chuck
  • 4 medium chopped onions
  • 4 to 5 cloves minced garlic
  • 3 large cans (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes and puree
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 c. chopped green pepper
  • 4 (10 oz.) cans tomato soup
  • 4 cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 c. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. cumin
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. crushed red chili pepper
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Brown meat with the onions. Drain well. Add all ingredients except kidney beans and cook 1 hour.

    Add kidney beans and cook 1/2 hour longer.

    This is hot chili.
