  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 3 lb. ground beef
  • 3 large onions, chopped
  • 6 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 large cans tomatoes or tomato juice
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 cans kidney beans

Directions

    Saute onions in very large skillet until transparent looking. Add meat.

    Cook and stir until it loses its red color.
  3. 3
    Add all of the other ingredients, except kidney beans.

    Stir well.

    Bring to boil, then cook at very low temperature for 4 hours.

    Add kidney beans and cook about 20 minutes more.
