  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 (8 1/2 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies (undrained)

Directions

    Heat oven to 400°.

    In an 8 or 9-inch square baking pan, cover bottom with oil evenly.

    Combine remaining ingredients.

    Add rest of oil; mix just until blended.
