- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. raw rice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder pepper (to taste)
Directions

1In heavy skillet (and use moderate heat), toss the ground pork back and forth until fat starts to fry out.

2Push pork to one side and fry onion for five minutes, then mix with beef, stirring until beef loses its color.

3Add rest of ingredients and turn into greased casserole.

4Cover and bake 1 hour.

5Pour off grease.

6Bake for 45 minutes.

7Serve with grated cheese.
