- 1 lb. ground beef (extra lean)
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 (16 oz.) tomatoes
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In large skillet, cook and stir meat, onion and bell pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.

3Stir in tomatoes, rice, salt, chili powder and pepper. Heat thoroughly.

4Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole.

5Cover and bake 60 minutes.

6Makes 4 to 6 servings.
