- 1 chopped onion
- 4 chopped stalks celery
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Saute onion, celery and green pepper in oil until tender.

2Add meat and cook until it loses its color.

3Add chili powder and tomatoes. Cook 10 minutes over medium heat. Stir in rice and salt. Put in shallow baking dish. Add cheese on top.

4Put under broiler until bubbly.
