- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3 large onions, sliced
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2In large skillet, cook and stir the meat, onions and bell pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.

3Drain off fat.

4Stir in tomatoes, rice, salt, chili powder and pepper; heat through.

5Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole dish.

6Cover and bake for 1 hour.
