- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1/4 c. rice, uncooked
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
Directions

1In an 8-inch skillet, cook and stir the meat, onions and green pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.

2Drain off fat. Stir in remaining ingredients.

3Heat thoroughly.

4Pour into greased 1-quart casserole dish.

5Cover and bake until rice is tender. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
