Ingredients

  • 5 c. dry cereal (Cheerios, Wheat, Corn, Rice and Bran Chex)
  • 2 c. pretzel sticks, broken in half
  • 1 c. mixed nuts
  • 1/3 c. margarine (light)
  • 4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. celery flakes
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce

Directions

    Combine dry cereals, pretzel sticks and mixed nuts.

    In a saucepan, melt margarine and combine with Worcestershire sauce, smoke, Tabasco sauce and seasonings.

    Toss with the cereals and nuts.

    Place in a shallow roasting pan.

    Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Place on an opened grocery sack until dry and cool.

    Makes 8 cups, approximately.
