  • 10 medium onions
  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 small can corn
  • 1/4 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Peel onion and remove enough center layers to make a pocket. Mix sausage, most of cheese, garlic, pepper, salt, egg and corn. Divide evenly and fill pockets in onion.

    Sprinkle remaining cheese and all the margarine over the onions.

    Place onions in 9 x 13-inch pan and pour in water.

    Bake 30 minutes at 375°.
