  • 1 24 oz. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 2 c. chopped onion or 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 2 c. sharp shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt (optional)

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with 2 c. crushed cornflakes mixed with butter. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
