Ingredients: 1 c. margarine; 1 c. water; 4 rounded Tbsp. cocoa; 2 c. sugar (granulated); 1/2 tsp. salt; 2 c. flour; 1 tsp. baking soda; 2 eggs; 1 tsp. vanilla; 1 c. milk, soured with 1 Tbsp. vinegar; 1/2 c. margarine; 1/4 c. cocoa; 6 Tbsp. milk; 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar; 1 tsp. vanilla

1 c. water

1 c. milk, soured with 1 Tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. margarine
1/4 c. cocoa
6 Tbsp. milk
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Grease and flour 18 x 12 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.

Melt together 1 cup margarine, water and the first measurement of cocoa; bring to boil (can be done in microwave).

Using wire whisk, blend the granulated sugar, salt, flour, baking soda, eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla and soured milk.

Blend into first mixture. Pour onto pan; bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

While cake bakes, prepare icing.
