  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt margarine, add cocoa and water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add flour, sugar and salt.

    Mix well.

    Add eggs, buttermilk, baking soda and vanilla.

    Mix well.

    Pour into prepared large jelly roll pan.

    Bake at 375° for 22 minutes. Frost while hot with Texas Sheet Cake Frosting.
