  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sour milk (1/2 c. milk, 1 1/2 tsp. vinegar)
  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt oleo, water and cocoa.

    Boil.

    Pour mixture over flour, brown sugar and salt mixture.

    Mix well.

    Add buttermilk, vanilla and eggs.

    Mix well.

    Bake in cookie sheet (11 x 17-inch) at 350° for 20 minutes.
