  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1/3 c. buttermilk or sour cream
  • 2 c. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    In mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour and baking soda.

    In a saucepan, melt together on low heat the water, margarine and cocoa. Pour over flour mixture.

    Add remaining ingredients and mix.

    Pour batter into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch jelly roll pan.
