  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3/4 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 3 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 3/4 c. uncooked Minute rice
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 oz. corn chips, crushed

Directions

    Brown beef and onion; drain fat.

    Stir in chili powder, garlic salt, peppers, tomatoes, beans, rice and water.

    Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

    Top with cheese.

    Cover until cheese melts (3 minutes).
