Ingredients
- 1 medium cabbage, chopped
- 2 medium onions, cut in slices and separated into rings
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
Directions

1Layer chopped cabbage and onions in large bowl.

2Sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar over top.

3Combine vinegar, 1/2 cup sugar, salt, mustard and celery seed; bring to a boil.

4Remove from heat and add oil.

5Bring to boil again.

6Pour over cabbage and onions. Cover tightly and store in refrigerator overnight.

7Stir occasionally.

8Drain and stir before serving.

9This will keep in refrigerator for two weeks.
