  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 (14 1/2 to 16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 c. beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 c. hot cooked rice
