  • 1-1/4 qt. OPEN PIT Original Restaurant Recipe Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 6-1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 3-1/2 Tbsp. cilantro, chopped
  • 2/3 cup gingerroot, peeled, minced
  • 2-1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 240 each chicken drumettes
  • 1-1/4 cups green onions, chopped

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except chicken and onions; set aside.

    Place chicken in single layer in parchment paper-lined full-sheet pans (or in lined half-sheet pan for trial recipe).

    Bake in 325 degrees F-convection oven 15 min.

    or until done (165 degrees F).

    Brush chicken with barbecue sauce mixture.

    Bake an additional 5 min.

    Sprinkle with onions.
