- 2 bunches cilantro
- 3 large garlic cloves or 3 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. beef (top loin or round)
- 1/3 c. freshly squeezed lime juice
- 3 Tbsp. fish sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Serrano chilies, minced
- 4 c. mixed salad greens
- 1 bunch fresh mint (optional)
- 1 small red onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
- 1 cucumber, sliced
Directions

1Wash cilantro; cut off leaves.

2Mince stems with garlic and salt plus a little water to make a paste.

3Spread on meat.

4Cover and marinate at least 40 minutes, 2 hours is better.

5Slice thin; cut into 1-inch pieces.

6Fry in a little oil on high heat until done.
