- 1 lb banana, about 6 (Traditionally small Asian bananas are used)
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 cup shredded coconut
- 4 cups oil (for deep frying)
Directions

1Peel and slice each banana lengthwise into four slices.

2Combine all the batter ingredients and stir just to mix together.

3Heat the oil in a wok to 375°F.

4Dip each piece of banana into the batter and deep fry until golden brown.

5Remove from oil and drain.

6Serve with Coconut ice cream.
