  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1 c. margarine, softened
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. flaked coconut
  • 1 c. quick oats
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 1/2 c. unsifted flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions

    In large bowl mix sugar, brown sugar, oil, margarine, egg, vanilla, rice cereal, coconut and oats.

    Sift together salt, flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.

    Add to sugar mixture and mix well.

    Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheets and bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350°.
