Ingredients

  • FOR THE MINT SIMPLE SYRUP:
  • 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Water
  • 1/2 cups Mint Leaves
  • FOR THE COCKTAIL:
  • 8 ounces, fluid Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
  • 2 ounces, fluid Lemon Juice
  • 1 ounce, fluid Grenadine
  • 2 ounces, fluid Tequila
  • 2 drops Bitters
  • 1 Tablespoon Chambord Liqueur
  • 2 Tablespoons Mint Simple Syrup
  • 2 sprigs Mint, For Garnish

    For the mint simple syrup:

    Stir together the sugar, water and mint in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and let boil for 1 minute, while stirring. Once the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and let cool for thirty minutes. Pour through a fine sieve and keep in the fridge until you need it.

    For the cocktail:

    Fill a shaker with ice and add in all the cocktail ingredients (except mint sprigs) over top. Stir. Pour into 2 ice-packed cocktail glasses. Garnish with the fresh mint.
