- 6 large apples, peeled and cored
- 1/2 c. apple cider or juice
- 1/4 c. sugar
- dash of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves and allspice (your preference)
Directions

1Cube apples.

2Place in 3-quart saucepan with juice or cider. Bring to a boil.

3Reduce heat.

4Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until tender.

5Stir in 1/4 cup sugar and the spice of your liking. Cook for 2 minutes longer.

6Mash in the pot or cool and puree

7in processor.

8Refrigerate up to two weeks.
