- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. light Karo
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (8 or 9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Brown butter in saucepan until it is golden brown; do not burn.

2Let cool.

3In separate bowl, add ingredients in order listed; stir.

4Blend in browned butter well.

5Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 425° for 10 minutes, then lower heat to 325° for 40 minutes.
