Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 3 medium bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 medium size cans white cream-style corn
  • salt to taste
  • 1 large can pimento, chopped
  • 1 large can mushrooms and juice
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 can water
  • 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked
  • 1 can ripe olives, chopped

Directions

    Saute meat, onions and peppers in about 2 tablespoons cooking oil.

    Add rest of ingredients except noodles and cheese.

    Cook slow for about 30 minutes, then add cooked and drained noodles and cheese.

    Pour into 1 large or two medium casseroles.

    Cover with more grated cheese and bake in moderate oven about 30 minutes. This freezes well.
