  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. + 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 tsp. flavoring (whatever flavor cake you want)

Directions

    Cream Crisco until soft. Add gradually the sugar and eggs one at a time. Sift flour and baking powder and add to Crisco mixture alternately with milk. Add flavoring. Bake in tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325°.
