- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp. whole basil
- Healthy pinch of salt
- 1 pound can tomatoes
- 2 (6 ounce.) cans tomato paste
- 10 ounce. lasagne noodles
- 2 Large eggs
- 3 c. cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pound mozzarella
Directions

1Brown meat slowly, spoon off excess fat.

2Add in next 5 ingredients with 1 c. of water.

3Simmer, covered for 15 min.

4Stir often.

5Cook noodles in boiling salted water till tender.

6Drain and rinse.

7Beat Large eggs.
-
8Add in remaining ingredients, except mozzarella.

9Layer half the noodles in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.

10Spread with half the cottage cheese filling.

11Add in half the mozzarella cheese and the half the meat sauce.

12Repeat.
-
13Bake at 375 degrees about 30 min.

14Let stand 10 min.

15Serves 8-10.
