Ingredients
- 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. rye flour (light or dark)
- 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 2 c. skim milk
- 1/4 c. honey
- 3/4 c. Canola oil
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/3 lb. fresh yeast
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Directions

1In a large bowl, put the first 3 ingredients and set aside. Heat together the skim milk, honey, Canola oil, sugar and salt in a large pan and warm to lukewarm.

2Then break the yeast into the liquid and mix by hand until it becomes smooth.

3Pour this mixture into the flour in the large bowl.

4Gradually add the remaining 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 cups flour, just enough to make a moderately stiff dough.

5Turn onto a floured surface and knead until smooth.

6Place dough in greased bowl, turning once.

7Cover; let rise once until doubled.

8Form three loaves; put into greased bread pans.

9Let rise to double in size.

10Bake at 375° for 30 to 40 minutes.
