Ingredients

  • 2 lb. round steak
  • 5 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 c. bell pepper, cut in thin strips (green, red, yellow)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (low-fat)
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. flour

    Cut meat into thin strips.

    Sprinkle meat with salt, pepper and garlic.

    Roll in flour.

    Brown meat slightly in oil.

    Remove meat and drain.

    Add onions and mushroom soup and water.

    Mix well.

    Place meat, mushrooms and onions in mixture.

    Simmer for 20 minutes.

    Add bell pepper strips.
