  • 3 lb. cabbage, chopped fine
  • 2 onions, grated
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. vinegar (white)
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp. salt

Directions

    Mix first 4 ingredients together; let stand while preparing remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.

    White hot, pour over cabbage mixture and stir.

    This slaw will keep for 3 weeks in the refrigerator.
