  • 16 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1/2 c. canned salted peanuts
  • 13 oz. can chow mein noodles
  • candied cherries

Directions

    Make several days ahead in double boiler over hot, not boiling water.

    Melt chocolate pieces.
  3. 3
    Stir in peanuts and noodles until they are well coated with chocolate.
  4. 4
    Drop by heaping teaspoons onto wax paper-lined cookie sheet.
  5. 5
    Top each with a 1/4 candied cherry.
  6. 6
    Refrigerate until served.

    If they soften when served, refrigerate again until firm.

    Makes about 3 dozen.
