- 2 slices bacon
- 1/2 lb. pork sausage links, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 3 beaten eggs
Directions

1Cook bacon until crisp; drain.

2Set aside 1 tablespoon drippings.

3Crumble bacon; set aside.

4In same skillet, brown sausage; drain off fat.

5Stir together flour, baking powder and salt.

6Add milk and eggs; beat until smooth.

7Spread reserved bacon drippings in a 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish.

8Place sausage pieces in dish; sprinkle with crumbled bacon.

9Pour batter over all.

10Bake uncovered at 400° until set, 30 to 35 minutes.
