Toasted Aromatic Pecans

  • 4 c. pecan halves (1 lb.)
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. or more of Angostura Bitters
  • seasoned salt

Directions

    Put pecans on a 13 x 9 baking sheet.

    Toast in a preheated 300° oven for 20 minutes.

    Meanwhile, melt butter, add Bitters and 1 teaspoon seasoning salt.

    Pour mixture over pecans and stir; coating pecans evenly.

    Cook for 15 minutes longer.

    Add more seasoning salt if desired.

    Remove; spread out on paper towels to dry.
