- dash of salt
- 2 stiffly beaten egg whites
- 1/2 c. margarine or butter
- 1 c. sugar
Directions

1Toast pecans in a 325° oven for 15 minutes, until light brown. Beat egg whites; fold in sugar and salt.

2Fold pecans into meringue.

3Melt margarine in a jelly roll pan; spread pecans into margarine.

4Bake in a 325° oven for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

5Cool.
