- 12 c. pecan halves
- salt or seasoned salt
- 1 stick butter
Directions

1Place pecans in a 17 x 12 pan in a 250° oven.

2Toast at least 30 minutes to dry and add butter, sliced.

3Let pecans get completely greasy, stirring once or twice.

4After pecans and butter have mixed well, sprinkle with salt generously and stir very often sprinkling with salt each time as all the salt does not stick to the pecans.

5Toast pecans 1 hour or more to desired taste and until butter has been absorbed and pecans are crisp.
