- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
Directions

1Butter square pan, 9 x 9x 2-inch.

2Spread pecans on pan.

3Heat sugar and margarine to boiling in 1 quart pan, stirring constantly.

4Boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, 7 minutes. Immediately spread mixture over pecans in pan.

5Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot mixture.

6Place cookie sheet over pan until chocolate chips are melted.

7Spread melted chocolate over candy.

8Cut into about 1/2-inch squares while hot.

9Refrigerate until firm.
