  • 2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1 Tbsp. white Karo
  • 2 (1.55 oz.) plain Hershey bars

Directions

    Arrange nuts in a single layer on greased foil in a flat, approximately 9 x 13-inch, pan.

    Boil sugar, margarine, Karo and water, stirring constantly, to hard crack stage (300° on candy thermometer).

    Pour evenly over pecans.

    Break up candy bars and place on top to melt and spread.

    Let stand several hours for chocolate to harden.
  6. 6
    Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
