- 1 c. sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- 1 Tbsp. white Karo
- 2 (1.55 oz.) plain Hershey bars
Directions

1Arrange nuts in a single layer on greased foil in a flat, approximately 9 x 13-inch, pan.

2Boil sugar, margarine, Karo and water, stirring constantly, to hard crack stage (300° on candy thermometer).

3Pour evenly over pecans.

4Break up candy bars and place on top to melt and spread.

5Let stand several hours for chocolate to harden.

6Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
