- 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can corn
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 beaten egg
Directions

1Drain corn, reserving liquid.

2Add enough milk to liquid to measure 1 cup.

3Combine egg, milk mixture and corn.

4Combine dry ingredients.

5Mix just until moist.

6Drop batter from tablespoon into 375° deep fat.

7Fry until brown, 3 to 4 minutes.

8Drain on paper towel.

9Serve warm maple syrup with fritters.
