- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine or butter
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

1Butter square pan, 9 x 9 x 2-inches.

2Spread pecans in pan. Heat brown sugar and margarine to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly.

3Boil 7 minutes, stirring constantly. Immediately spread evenly over pecans.

4Sprinkle with chocolate chips.

5Cover pan with cookie sheet.

6Let stand about 1 minute or until chips soften.

7Spread softened chocolate over candy.

8While hot, cut into 1 1/2-inch squares.

9Refrigerate until firm.

10Makes 3 dozen.
