- 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

1Butter square pan (9 x 9 x 2-inches).

2Spread pecans in pan. Heat sugar and butter to boiling, stirring constantly.

3Boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 7 minutes.

4Immediately spread mixture evenly over nuts in pan.

5Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot mixture; place foil over pan so chocolate will melt. Spread chocolate evenly over candy.
