Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter or oleo
  • 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • small chopped nuts
  • milk chocolate chips

Directions

    Mix first 4 ingredients in saucepan and cook over medium heat until it boils.
  2. 2
    Time for 10 minutes while stirring constantly. Pour immediately on buttered cookie sheet that has chopped nuts spread on it.

    Sprinkle chocolate chips over candy and wait until it softens a little, then spread with butter knife.

    (I put my chips through a nut chopper so they melt faster.)

    Set in refrigerator for at least 1/2 hour, then break into pieces.
