  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1/3 c. Karo
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 stick margarine
  • chocolate pieces, melted
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cook sugars, Karo and water to hard ball stage (254°) and add 1 stick of margarine.

    Cook until brittle (300°).

    Remove from stove and add chopped nuts.
  4. 4
    Pour on greased sheet and cover with half of chocolate.
  5. 5
    When chocolate hardens, turn over and spread remaining chocolate on other side.
