Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter (margarine)
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

    Line cookie sheet with foil.

    Heat butter, sugar and water to 300° on candy thermometer.
  3. 3
    Pour onto cookie sheet and spread quickly.
  4. 4
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and spread when melted.

    Top with nuts, if desired.

    Put into refrigerator until solid.
  7. 7
    Break up and serve.
