- 1 c. butter, at room temperature
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 6 regular size Hershey bars
- 2/3 c. finely chopped nuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cream butter, sugar and egg yolk together.

3Add flour gradually, stirring with spoon until well blended.

4Spread dough in a lightly greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.

5(Make sure sides are at least an inch deep or dough will overflow.)

6Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes until medium brown.

7Immediately after removing from oven, split Hershey bars 3 or 4 ways and distribute over top of dough evenly.

8When melted, spread evenly.

9Sprinkle with nuts.

10When cool, cut into diamonds by slicing diagonally.
