- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 6 ounces chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions

1Thoroughly cream together margarine, sugar and vanilla.

2Add flour, mix well.

3Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.

4Press mixture into ungreased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 jelly roll pan.

5Bake at 350* for 25 minutes or until browned.

6Over baking will make it hard.

7While still warm, cut into bars.

8Cool before removing from pan.
