  • FOR THE CAKE:
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 3 Tablespoons Cinnamon, Divided
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 2 whole Jumbo Eggs
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1/2 cups Chopped, Toasted Pecans
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 cups Butter

  • FOR THE GLAZE:
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 5 Tablespoons Heavy Cream

Directions

    Mix the brown sugar, flour, 2 tablespoons of the cinnamon and butter together until crumbly. Set aside one and a half cups of this to cover the top of the following mixture.

    To the remaining sugar/flour mixture, add the eggs, buttermilk, chopped pecans and baking soda.

    Pour the batter into a 13x9 inch pan. Sprinkle the reserved crumbled topping on the batter. Dot the top with 1/4 cup butter slices.

    Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

    Mix the powdered sugar, heavy cream and remaining tablespoon of cinnamon. Pour over slightly cooled cake. Enjoy!
