Ingredients

  • 1 lb. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
  • 10 plain Hershey bars

Directions

    Put butter (margarine), sugar and nuts in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil and stir constantly until thermometer reaches 300° (hard crack).

    Pour into cookie sheet and spread evenly.
  3. 3
    Top immediately with Hershey bars and spread when melted over the toffee mixture.

    Refrigerate.

    Chop into bite size pieces and refrigerate to store.
