- 1 lb. butter or margarine
- 2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
- 10 plain Hershey bars
Directions

1Put butter (margarine), sugar and nuts in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil and stir constantly until thermometer reaches 300° (hard crack).

2Pour into cookie sheet and spread evenly.

3Top immediately with Hershey bars and spread when melted over the toffee mixture.

4Refrigerate.

5Chop into bite size pieces and refrigerate to store.
