  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (8 oz.) chocolate bar
  • 1 c. nut meats, chopped

Directions

    Cream butter; add brown sugar and work until light and fluffy. Add beaten egg yolk and sifted flour. Spread thinly on a greased cookie sheet and bake on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 18 to 20 minutes. Melt chocolate and spread on cookie surface while warm. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and cut into squares while warm.
